Marketing management week 7 | Marketing homework help

This week’s discussion focuses on Chapters 12 and 13:  Services Marketing and Global Marketing.  Following your review of the material from the chapter readings, prepare to take a stand on the following issue:  Is the World Coming Closer Together?

Many social commentators maintain that youth and teens are becoming more and more alike as time goes on. Others, while not disputing that fact, point out that the differences between cultures at even younger ages by far exceed the similarities.

In your post, use the material from the chapter readings to support your position:  People are becoming more and more similar versusthe differences between people of different cultures far outweigh their advantages.

Fieldwork portion attached: Language is boundlessly diverse and always changing, and to fully understand linguistics, we must move beyond theory and engage with individuals as they learn and use language. To this effect, you will be working with a student or second language learner. Through all of these elements, be sure to pay particular attention to language structure and acquisition.

Fieldwork Journal (100 points)

There are two main components of the Fieldwork Journal: (1) notes, and (2) reflection and analysis. During these hours of engagement, you should be taking detailed notes (attached). In addition to your notes, you will include a reflection on your experience this week and/or analysis of the student or partner’s use of language and acquisition process. Topics may include stage of language acquisition, progress and regression, response to difficulty, points of cultural interest, connections to the textbook and other class subjects, and any surprising linguistic moments or idiosyncrasies.

Case Study (200 points)

The primary writing portion of this assignment is a case study designed to provide the opportunity to apply your knowledge of language structure and acquisition in a hands-on context. You will write a detailed analysis of this individual or individuals, including his or her linguistic behaviors, relationships with peers and instructor, and stage of language development, distinctive language markers, in both written and oral contexts. Also consider factors such as culture, family, school environment, age, gender, ethnicity, language spoken in the home, and other personal and demographic information. When possible, analyze writing samples by your subject/partner, and potentially from his/her peers, to gather contextual information. Your case study should be a collection of descriptive data as well as an analysis and evaluation of this information in a 4-6 page essay in MLA or APA format.

*Please use textbook topics such as these to incorporate into the analysis:

-First & Second Language Acquisition

-Language Acquisition Theories/theorists such as:

· Noam Chomsky

· Structural Linguistics

· Transformational/Generative Linguistics

· Cognitive Linguistics

· Prescriptive/Traditional Linguistics

· The “universal grammar”

· Behaviorism

· Social Interactionism

Principles of marketing | Applied Sciences homework help

For this activity, prepare a reflection paper, and consider the concepts that you have learned during your readings. Think about what you understand completely and what did not quite make sense. The purpose of this assignment is to provide you with the opportunity to reflect on the material you have read and to expand on it. This is not a summary.

In the Unit I introduction to this course, Theodore Levitt’s remarks about the contrasting needs of the seller and the marketer were shared. Levitt described how satisfying the needs of the customer is now the pathway to marketing success. This concept and others related to the four Ps of product, price, promotion, and place were further explored throughout the units. For this reflection paper, respond to these three prompts:

  • Reflect on how this introductory marketing course has changed your view of how the field of marketing works.
  • What was the most surprising thing you learned? What do you need to learn more about?
  • Do you see the rise of consumer power through evolving changes in technology? If so, how? If not, why not?

Your reflection paper must be at least four pages in length and formatted according to APA guidelines. If you use any paraphrased or quoted material, you must have accompanying in-text citations and references. Title and reference pages do not count toward the minimum length requirement.

Dicision making 3 | Operations Management homework help

1. Decision Awareness. Here are excerpts from an editorial by Thomas L. Friedman, published on March 14, 2004, in the New York Times to organize a brief analysis of how postmodernity influences contemporary politics.

Nandan Nilekani, C.E.O. of the Indian software giant Infosys, gave me a tour the other day of his company’s wood-paneled global conference room in Bangalore. . . . “We can have our whole global supply chain on the screen at the same time,” holding a virtual meeting, explained Mr. Nilekani. The room’s eight clocks tell the story: U.S. West, U.S. East, G.M.T., India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia. . . . .

Compare and contrast how it affects Infosys and Al Qaeda are affected by the Internet.

Discuss both the dangers and opportunities associated with postmodernism. (Define postmodernism, then answer through that definition).

Week 8 assignment | Human Resource Management homework help

1. The first four standards in HPT are RSVP – Results, Systematic approach, Value-added, Partnership. Compare software implementation processes with this approach. Identify opportunities that a performance practitioner practicing HPT will have to demonstrate their capabilities as compared to someone practicing standard software development life cycle approaches.

  2. The last six of the HPT standards can be summarized in the acronym ADDIE – assess, design, develop, implement and evaluation. There are similarities here to SDLC, the software development lifecycle, as well. Compare the similarities and difference. Discuss advantages and disadvantages that an HPT practitioner might have when working on software implementation projects.

3. Fantastik Lil’ Pancakes (FLP or Flippers), a popular pancake emporium, has hired you as their organization is considering upgrading their learning management enterprise system (LMS). Their objective is to move learning to a virtual environment, decrease course development and redesign time, improve participant satisfaction and instructor satisfaction, and ensure that learning transfers back to the job. They have asked you to put together a score for their current system so that they can compare implementation progress with the new one. Describe your approach to this assignment. What data will be needed and how will you organize it for easy reference?    Note: incorporate the following model into your response. This model is found in Chapter 8 of our textbook.

 4.  While implementing their new LMS, Fantastik Lil’ Pancakes (FLP or Flippers), a pancake emporium, has also implemented social networking sites, text messaging, internal wikis and blogs. They want to use “native” content inside of their learning management system. You also have heard about several franchise owners who have created home-made videos to provide key training points via YouTube to their new employees. Describe risks and ethical issues for using this content “as is” in a community of practice format versus providing a validation process taking subject matter experts from other work (or delaying the use of the content significantly).
